Mobipolis: A new website for a new brand

Mobipolis (ex-GNFA): digital overhaul and new identity for a key mobility player

In 2025, GNFA, the training organization of the Automotive and Mobility Services branch , is changing course: new brand, new ambition, new visual identity. To accompany this strategic shift, a complete redesign of the site was necessary, and the GNFA teams once again turned to our Smotly agency for this fine project. 

More than a simple makeover, the redesign was 360° and aligned with the new brand image. Everything was rethought to integrate the new graphic charter and migrate to a more powerful CMS: Webflow.

Simplify, perform and convert: the challenges of a strategic migration and redesign from Webflow to WordPress

From the outset of the project, the challenges were multiple and interconnected. All technical and functional aspects were discussed to define a clear, precise and detailed roadmap. The whole project was built around the central point: the change of CMS from WordPress to Webflow.

The strategic objectives are structured around five main areas:

Improved navigation and easier information retrieval for an optimized user experience, with particular emphasis on clarifying the training and services on offer.

Migrate to Webflow to give teams total editing freedom thanks to an intuitive administration interface - replacing the constraints of WordPress with a modern, intuitive tool.

Optimize natural referencing right from the design stage, with an architecture designed with SEO in mind and a secure redirection plan to preserve the power acquired.

Secure data migration from the existing ERP and aggregator, while integrating ClickDimensions to automate the management of prospects who have completed forms.

Perfect implementation of the new Mobipolis graphic charter to create a strong, modern visual consistency across the entire digital journey.

Design, architecture & autonomy: a tailor-made, controlled site for Mobipolis

To turn this redesign into a lasting success, we focused on creating a scalable, secure system. The design phase was particularly meticulous: from the analysis of personas to the creation of a complete design system, including a complete overhaul of the tree structure.

Our approach is structured around two complementary types of pages:

  • Les pages templates : duplicables à l’infini, elles permettent aux équipes Mobipolis de créer du contenu via des champs prédéfinis dans le back-office Webflow. Parfaites pour les formations, actualités ou témoignages, elles garantissent une mise en forme cohérente sans compétences techniques.
  • Reference pages: built with co-created and jointly identified components, they offer maximum flexibility to create unique pages by drawing from a library of ready-to-use blocks. This modular approach avoids design deviations and preserves visual consistency.

The result? Mobipolis teams can now create, modify and publish their content independently, with the guarantee of a professional, consistent look and feel.

Managing an ambitious web redesign on a tight schedule: our step-by-step approach

To successfully overhaul Mobipolis within the imposed deadlines, we put in place an agile and pragmatic organization, adapted to the urgency and complexity of the project. From the official launch in February 2025, the schedule was built around one objective: to deliver an operational site in less than three months, while ensuring a rapid transfer of skills and autonomy for the teams.

Launch and scoping phase - early February: in-depth analysis of requirements, definition of functional and technical scope, prioritization of deliverables and detailed planning.

Design phase: co-creation workshops, definition of personas, definition of a new tree structure, wireframes for all pages, validation of mock-ups and design system to start production immediately.

Phase de développement  – 1 mois seulement : mise en place de l’architecture technique Webflow, développement des composants et templates, intégration des fonctionnalités avancées.

04.

Phase de déploiement & formation : migration des contenus, et formation des équipes Mobipolis sur la prise en main du back office Webflow.  La majorité des informations ont été récupérées automatiquement depuis l’ERP et l’agrégateur existants, mais de nombreuses données complémentaires ont dû être ajoutées ou enrichies manuellement par les équipes Mobipolis pour être disponibles avant la mise en ligne.

Acceptance phase: Once the technical base had been validated, the acceptance phase enabled us to check all functionalities, the quality of content, the integrity of migrated data and the site's overall performance.

Further information

The site went online on June 3, following the official Mobipolis press release on June 2. Given the speed of the production phase, certain adjustments had to be made to ensure that the site would be put online in line with the defined scope and expected quality. After the launch, we continued to optimize and deploy the final patches to perfect the experience and achieve excellence. This is also the reality of a digital project: dealing with time and business constraints, making the right decisions at the right time, and moving forward with agility. With Smotly, every challenge becomes an opportunity, and anything is possible!

Webflow & the power of a customized back-office

The choice of the Webflow CMS was decisive in supporting Mobipolis' digital transformation. Much more than a simple content management tool, Webflow offers an unprecedented administration experience, designed for team autonomy and creativity, without compromising graphic consistency.

  • Un back-office accessible et sécurisé
    Grâce à Webflow, les équipes Mobipolis peuvent désormais gérer l’intégralité du contenu du site sans connaissances techniques. Les pages dites “templates” offrent une structure prédéfinie : idéales pour publier des formations, actualités ou témoignages, elles garantissent un rendu homogène et professionnel… mais restent, par nature, limitées à une structure fixe.
  • Des pages de référence ultra-flexibles, grâce à la logique de composants
    La véritable innovation de cette refonte réside dans la gestion des pages de référence. Chaque section du site a été pensée comme un composant indépendant, avec son propre design et ses règles d’affichage. Depuis le back-office, les équipes construisent leurs pages “à la carte”, en sélectionnant, ordonnant et combinant les composants selon les besoins du moment. C’est tout le confort d’un builder : une flexibilité maximale pour créer des pages uniques, adaptées à chaque message, chaque opération ou événement.
  • Sécurité et cohérence du design garanties
    Contrairement aux solutions classiques, cette approche permet une liberté totale sur le contenu et la mise en page, tout en verrouillant le design et la responsivité : impossible de casser la charte graphique ou l’expérience utilisateur, chaque composant étant préalablement validé et optimisé. Les équipes Mobipolis peuvent donc innover, tester, adapter leur communication sans risque de dérive ni perte de qualité visuelle.

Ce système permet à Mobipolis d’être 100 % autonome, réactif et créatif dans la gestion de son site, tout en offrant une expérience utilisateur haut de gamme, fidèle à la nouvelle identité de la marque.
