A new e-commerce solution arrives in France
Created in 2009, BigCommerce is already present in more than 120 countries. However, it is only since July 2021, that the open SaaS solution has chosen France to strengthen its European presence. Indeed, after having successfully established itself in London in 2018, the e-commerce giant has chosen France where demand is booming.
The choice of France was an obvious one. Indeed, following the global pandemic, the turnover of e-commerce in France is expected to reach 67 billion dollars in 2021. BigCommerce has therefore made the choice to continue to expand its complete offer in France.
An adapted BigCommerce offer
The e-commerce offer is a SaaS subscription with the possibility to opt for a headless architecture thanks to a 98% open API. In this case, the front-office can be developed on any technical solution, including WordPress. This is why it is called an open SaaS solution.
Thus, by choosing BigCommerce, French customers will be able to manage their e-commerce sites entirely in French. To have an international, omnichannel platform, and an infrastructure directly managed by the editor, on Google Cloud. They will also be able to cover their BtoB needs, features that are natively supported on the SaaS platform.
In addition, a French team has already been recruited to support future BigCommerce customers in France.
