Unless you live in a cave, it's impossible not to notice the state of our beautiful planet. We all have a role to play, especially when you consider that the digital sector accounts for around 4% of global CO2 emissions.
At Smotly, we're determined to do our part for a more sustainable web. We do everything we can to minimize our environmental impact by adopting eco-design practices and using the levers at our disposal.

We use Infomaniak's Green server, powered 100% by renewable energy and hosted in Europe (Switzerland). This solution enables us to minimize our environmental impact while offering a high-performance service.
We keep abreast of best practices in digital eco-design through active monitoring and participation in events organized by the Green IT association.
For each project, we strive to achieve an A on the EcoIndex scale. What is the EcoIndex? It's the main indicator for evaluating the environmental impact of websites, based on several criteria including site weight, complexity and number of resources.
All the mock-ups we co-create on Figma are designed to optimize the eco-design of web sites. By combining your needs with eco-design best practices, we arbitrate to define light, efficient interfaces.
