Created in 2007, the Marge Communication agency has continued to evolve over the years. For more than 6 years now, our activity has revolved around the design of web solutions and the creation of multimedia content.
Creation of showcase sites, e-commerce sites, development of specific solutions, photo shooting or even video production, we have become a full-fledged web and multimedia agency.
So for several years now, the name Marge Communication has no longer really suited our activity. Indeed, this name does not allow us to highlight the digital aspect of our activity as much as we would like. We therefore wanted to change to a name that would better represent this activity but also our identity.
So, in this desire to have a name that more closely resembles us, we decided, after more than 10 years under the name Marge Communication, to call ourselves Smotly.
**You are probably wondering why Smotly?**
SMOT from the English Second Moment of Truth (or Second Moment of Truth in French), designates a stage of the marketing concept known as the four moments of truth (ZMOT, FMOT, SMOT and TMOT). This concept refers to the customer's feeling of having made the right choice. The main objective of SMOT is customer satisfaction. This is a key stage of the customer life cycle.

The name change also marks a new stage for our company: our arrival in the BigCommerce partner program, an Open SaaS e-commerce solution which is entering French territory.
